Trader and contact details
Aaron Creaney trading as Precision Machine Industries, sole trader. VAT registration number 456069474. Business address: 128 Lakelands, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland, BT64 1AW. Email: pmi-enquiries@precisionmachineindustries.com. Telephone: +44 7923 501362.
Contact hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 UK local time. The business address is not a customer drop-in premises. Do not deliver or return goods in person without a specific prior arrangement.
Product availability, prices and orders
Product identity, condition, price, currency, VAT treatment, availability, lead time and delivery charge must be confirmed for the particular item. Application-dependent, obsolete or uncertain-supply products can remain enquiry-only. Similar part numbers, ratings or connectors do not prove compatibility.
Before you place an online order, the checkout will show the goods, total price including applicable taxes, delivery charge and available payment methods. Delivery restrictions and accepted payment methods will be shown at the start of checkout. Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of that offer, not acceptance. The contract is formed when PMI sends an email expressly accepting your order or confirming dispatch. Payment alone does not constitute acceptance. We will provide the order details, applicable terms and cancellation information in an email you can keep.
PMI may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where a product, price, stock position, delivery route or payment cannot be verified. If payment has been taken for an order that cannot be accepted, it will be refunded using the applicable payment route.
UK delivery, including Northern Ireland
We offer delivery within the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland: Royal Mail Tracked 24 for small parcels and Parcelforce for larger parcels, subject to the packed size, weight and destination. Delivery is charged on every order; there is no free-delivery threshold. The available service and full delivery charge are shown before payment. Dispatch time is separate from postal transit time; check the individual product for its dispatch lead time. Tracked 24 is a service name, not a guaranteed next-day delivery promise. Delivery aims can vary by postcode, including Northern Ireland. Republic of Ireland delivery is not currently available through online checkout. Contact PMI before ordering for any destination not offered at checkout.
For a consumer order, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made unless a different period is agreed. Business delivery dates and responsibilities follow the accepted quotation or order terms. Contact PMI promptly if goods do not arrive when agreed or arrive visibly damaged; retain the packaging and delivery evidence where reasonable.
Consumer cancellation for distance purchases
If you buy as a consumer online or by telephone, you can normally cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. Where goods in one order arrive separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the last good; for goods delivered in several lots or pieces, it runs from receipt of the last lot or piece. For regular deliveries over a defined period, it runs from receipt of the first delivery. You may also cancel before delivery. To cancel, send a clear statement to pmi-enquiries@precisionmachineindustries.com or the business address above before the period ends. Include your name, order reference, goods and the date received. You may use the model cancellation form below, but it is not compulsory. Sending the cancellation notice before the deadline is enough to exercise the right: PMI approval or a return-merchandise authorisation is not required.
After cancelling, return the goods without undue delay and normally within 14 days by post or courier to 128 Lakelands, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland, BT64 1AW, unless PMI has agreed a different collection or return route with you. Do not attempt an in-person return. Asking for instructions does not extend or shorten a statutory period, and a delayed or missing response from PMI does not remove a statutory right. No approval or return authorisation is needed before a statutory cancellation return is posted or given to a courier.
The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning non-faulty cancelled goods where this was explained before purchase. PMI will refund the product price and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge offered, without undue delay. For returned goods, the refund will be made no later than 14 days after PMI receives the goods or, if earlier, 14 days after the customer supplies evidence of having sent them back. If PMI offered to collect the goods, the refund will be made no later than 14 days after PMI is informed of the cancellation. The refund will use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise and will not carry a refund fee. A lawful deduction may be made for handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning.
Cancellation exceptions apply only where the law permits and the relevant exception was explained before purchase—for example, goods made to the customer's specification or clearly personalised. A special order is not automatically exempt merely because PMI sourced it for an order.
Model cancellation form
Using this form is optional. A clear statement that identifies the contract and communicates the decision to cancel is sufficient.

I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract for the sale of the following goods: [describe the goods].
Ordered on / received on: [date]. Order reference (if available): [reference].
Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address].
Consumer signature (only if this form is sent on paper): [signature]. Date: [date].
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods
Consumer goods must match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for a purpose made known and accepted where the law requires. Statutory remedies can include rejection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the jurisdiction, timing and circumstances. PMI will not charge a consumer the reasonable return or collection cost for goods properly rejected as faulty, damaged on delivery or not as described.
Contact pmi-enquiries@precisionmachineindustries.com promptly with the order reference, exact part number, description of the problem and useful photographs. Do not dismantle, alter, install or attempt a repair where doing so could cause damage or obscure the issue. This does not remove a statutory right; it helps preserve evidence and allows a safe return or inspection route to be agreed.
Nothing in this policy replaces mandatory rights under applicable Northern Ireland/UK or Irish consumer law. Manufacturer warranty wording is additional where provided and does not replace the consumer's rights against the seller.
Business purchases and application-dependent goods
Consumer cancellation rules apply only where the buyer is acting mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business purchases are governed by the accepted quotation/order terms and applicable business-sale law. Unless PMI agrees otherwise in writing, a business customer has no contractual change-of-mind return right.
Where PMI agrees a business change-of-mind return and disclosed this term before purchase, the refund for the item or items accepted for return is 90% of their invoiced price including VAT. PMI retains the remaining 10% as the restocking amount. The original order's full outbound delivery charge is not refunded. It is retained once across all returns from that order and must not be deducted again if it has already been excluded from a refund. For multiple-item orders, the 10% applies only to the items accepted for return, not to unrelated goods. For example, where an item was invoiced at £120 including VAT and the original outbound delivery charge was £10, a full return results in a £108 refund: PMI retains £12 as the restocking amount and retains the £10 original delivery charge once from the £130 originally paid. Any return-postage or collection cost is separate from the original outbound delivery charge. This term applies only to an agreed business change-of-mind return; it does not apply to a statutory consumer cancellation or to goods validly rejected as faulty, damaged on delivery or not as described.
Returns of configured, obsolete, specially sourced or application-dependent goods require the exact supplied identity and prior written return instructions. This does not exclude rights for goods that fail to meet the applicable contract. Compatibility must be assessed before installation; an agreed sale of a particular part is not a guarantee that an unverified substitute will work in a machine.
Starting a return
Email pmi-enquiries@precisionmachineindustries.com with the order or quotation reference, product and part number, quantity, reason for return and relevant evidence. Statutory consumer cancellation returns may be sent by post or courier to 128 Lakelands, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland, BT64 1AW without prior approval. For a faulty, damaged or incorrectly described item, contact PMI so that PMI can arrange or reimburse a reasonable return method. Business change-of-mind returns require a separate written agreement.
Pack goods securely and retain proof of dispatch. Do not attempt an in-person return or include passwords, machine backups, confidential customer data or unrelated equipment. Refund timing and deductions will follow the applicable statutory rules and the verified return circumstances. Any return reference records the route; it does not condition or predetermine a statutory right.
Scope and updates
These general terms apply to goods supplied by PMI. Engineering attendance, installation, commissioning, repair, machinery moves and other services require their own agreed scope, responsibilities, timing and price. Crane/HIAB, haulage and electrical disconnection for machinery moves are subcontracted where agreed.
The version supplied when an order is placed applies alongside the accepted product and order information. Later changes to this page do not retrospectively change an existing contract or remove statutory rights.
