Development overview
PMI is developing its own CNC control technology, with current work focused on a milling platform. Machine owners can discuss prospective milling applications, demonstration requests and the context for a future retrofit assessment. The platform is not a released, ready-to-install package: current functionality, demonstration availability and suitability for any particular machine must be confirmed directly.
Current development position
PMI CNC Control is being developed for milling first, with planned expansion into CNC turning (lathes), plasma cutting and woodworking CNC. These applications are part of PMI's development roadmap; they are not presented as currently released capabilities.
Any demonstration or engineering discussion reflects the platform's actual stage at that time. Interest in an application does not establish availability or commit PMI to a delivery scope.
Begin with the prospective milling application
Describe the machine, existing control and motion equipment, present problem or limitation, intended outcome and acceptable downtime. Include the site location and whether the enquiry is for a development conversation, a possible demonstration or wider retrofit assessment.

Consider the complete machine, not only the control
A CNC control is one part of a machine system. Mechanical condition, retained I/O and motion equipment, safety functions, documentation, operator requirements and external interfaces all affect a future retrofit decision.
The broader CNC machine retrofit assessment is the appropriate starting point when a production machine needs a defined modernisation route. PMI CNC Control is not presented as the automatic solution to every retrofit enquiry.

Which machines does PMI CNC Control support?
No general list of supported machine configurations is published. Suitability would depend on the individual machine, its mechanics, controls, motion equipment, interfaces and the platform's current development position.

You can enquire about a demonstration, but availability and what can be shown must be confirmed by arrangement against the current development stage.
Will the platform expand to lathes, plasma cutting and woodworking CNC?
Yes. PMI's development roadmap includes CNC turning (lathes), plasma cutting and woodworking CNC, with milling as the first development focus. Start with the CNC machine retrofit assessment when the goal is to modernise a production machine. That conversation can consider the complete machine and whether PMI CNC Control has any prospective relevance without assuming it is suitable or available.
