Practical machinery and control-system experience
PMI's experience includes Homag machinery and CNC systems, alongside Beckhoff, TwinCAT, EtherCAT, Rexroth/IndraDrive, IndraWorks, DriveTop, Inovance and CODESYS. The relevant machine, control generation and available engineering information are reviewed before a particular assignment is accepted.
A platform name alone does not define a support requirement. The same enquiry may involve the controller, software, drives, motors, feedback, I/O and the machine's operating sequence. We ask for their context rather than assume the visible alarm identifies the failed part.
Woodworking and metalworking machinery
Describe the machine type, what it is doing when the issue occurs and the effect on production. That context helps distinguish a component enquiry, a fault investigation, planned maintenance or a wider machine change.
Independent support, accurately described
Manufacturer agreements are not currently established. Brand names describe relevant experience or a sourcing enquiry; they do not mean PMI is an authorised distributor or manufacturer-appointed service partner. Support for every model or version is not implied.
How we approach an engineering requirement
Start with the equipment, the issue and the intended outcome. Machine identities, exact alarms, drawings, service history and relevant photographs help establish what is known and what needs further assessment.
The next step may be a scoped visit, a request for more information, a component sourcing assessment or a project discussion. Attendance, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed before commitments are made; an enquiry is not a booking or a repair guarantee.
Component sourcing with the application in view
For an identified spare, preserve the full manufacturer part number, including suffixes and revision markings. PMI's own SKU is a separate reference. If a replacement is proposed, its interfaces, configuration and connected equipment must be considered before suitability is confirmed.
Price, condition, availability and applicable supply terms are specific to the item. Unlisted or obsolete parts can be discussed without implying that PMI holds them in stock or that a drop-in alternative exists.
Clear responsibilities for machinery work
PMI undertakes physical decommissioning, dismantling and removal for agreed machinery work. Crane/HIAB, haulage and electrical disconnection are subcontracted. Installation or recommissioning at the receiving site is separately defined rather than assumed to follow automatically from removal.
Site access, equipment condition, available documentation and specialist responsibilities are part of the scope discussion. An inspection or physical extraction instruction does not give PMI legal enforcement powers.
Developing PMI CNC Control
PMI is developing its own milling-control platform. Prospective milling applications and demonstration requests can be discussed against the actual development stage.
PMI CNC Control is not a released, ready-to-install package. The wider retrofit assessment can consider repair or partial modernisation without assuming the developing control is the appropriate solution.

Is PMI independent of the equipment manufacturers?
Yes. No manufacturer-authorised appointment or distributor agreement is currently claimed. We describe relevant experience and assess the specific equipment before agreeing work.
Do you only accept enquiries with a complete technical specification?
No. Begin with the machine identity, a concise description of the requirement and any clear nameplate or fault-screen photographs available. Further information may be needed before scope or supply can be confirmed.
Does component supply include installation?
Only if installation or commissioning is explicitly agreed. A component quotation and the engineering needed to use it are distinct parts of the requirement.
