The CMT 143.120.61 is a polycrystalline diamond (DP) router cutter for machining sheet materials on CNC routers. Its shear-angle cutting geometry is designed for nesting work, with applications including jointing, rebating and grooving. CMT specifies use on laminates, MDF, HPL, veneer and melamine-faced panels.

• Diamond cutting edges: DP cutting material provides the working edges for machining the panel materials specified by CMT.
• DENSIMET® body: tungsten heavy alloy construction is designed to reduce vibration during routing.
• Nesting geometry: a three-cutting-edge arrangement with nine DP tips provides the cutting configuration for this model.
• Pre-finishing and finishing: suitable for both stages of panel routing, allowing selection around the required machining sequence.
• Resharpenable design: CMT permits up to six resharpenings, providing a servicing option as the cutting edges wear.
• Defined feed limit: CMT lists a maximum feed speed of 25 m/min. This is a limit rather than a universal operating setting; the machining parameters must suit the material and setup.
