Replacement collet nut designed to help direct dust and chips towards the CNC machine’s extraction system during nesting and routing. Available in ER32 and ER40 fittings, with 80 mm and 92 mm outside-diameter options.
The Klein T139 TORNADO® combines a collet-clamping nut with a dust and chip evacuation device for CNC routing. It replaces the standard nut on a compatible collet chuck and works alongside the machine’s existing extraction system to move machining debris away from the workpiece.
Klein recommends the TORNADO for nesting and routing, particularly when machining chipboard, MDF and coated panels. Choose the fitting to match your toolholder, then check the outside diameter against the clearance available around the spindle, extraction hood and tool changer.
- Direct replacement fitting: mounts on a compatible collet chuck in place of its standard nut, retaining the use of standard router bits.
- Extraction assistance: helps convey dust and chips from the cutting area towards the machine’s central extraction system.
- Light-alloy construction: combines a lightweight body with a surface treatment intended to resist wear and corrosion.
- Two outside diameters: the smaller 80 mm ER32 version provides an option where clearance is restricted; the 92 mm body is available for ER32 or ER40.
- Serviceable tool setup: use the appropriate tightening tool and follow Klein’s assembly instructions when changing cutters or collets.

Match both the collet system and thread to the existing toolholder.
Klein specifies an optimum gap of 2 mm above the material, with operation up to 10 mm stated on the product page. Check clearance throughout machining and automatic tool changes, and follow the manufacturer’s tightening instructions.
Supplied: one selected T139 extraction nut, individually packed in a plastic box. Klein lists nut-and-wrench packages separately under the X139 series.
